Refresh, Re-Invent, Reconnect
at the
Upcoming Industry Convention
Dear Colleagues,
In six weeks the ACETA convention will roll out with a diverse program tailored to inspire an industry severely impacted by several years of disruption and its consequences. In an exceptional gesture, this convention is free for members and associate members. All attendees need to do is get to the event, accommodate themselves, register as a delegate, and book tickets for the subsidized social events of their choosing. Check the program https://www.aceta.org.au/convention-programme.html
The purpose of the convention is to facilitate personal, corporate and industry development, increase member opportunities, improve standards, influence reform and create programs that defend our industry against activities that would undermine it, only achieved in a unified forum. But given recent challenges, particularly isolation, the convention offers the most authentic, neutral and non-commercial environment to socialise and network. Previous conventions have seen participant companies adopt new and improved practises, broaden their knowledge base, expand networks, form new partnerships, and positively influence their and their industries sustainability and direction.
Member and associate member companies are entitled to three free company delegate representatives, who must be registered in advance. Aside from access to convention workshops, delegates will enjoy complimentary morning, afternoon tea and lunch. All delegates and their partners are invited to book the social events that include golf day, cocktail party and gala dinner. Convention registrations and social event bookings can be made here https://www.aceta.org.au/convention-2022.html
ACETA encourages delegates to travel with partners, the Wangaratta region is a compelling destination to visit, with many attractions both modern and historical nearby, whilst the convention social events are ideally enjoyed with partners. Information for partners can be provided by Julie on 03 9481 7706 or
[email protected]. A guide to the region can be found here https://www.aceta.org.au/location-and-nearby-attractions.html
There will be a convention registration and social event booking cut-off point, to be decided, necessary for both hospitality purposes and the printing of seminar/workshop resources materials. Furthermore,
country regions are currently popular holiday destinations, impacting accommodation availability and in the case of Wangaratta it will be exacerbated by a well-attended convention. ACETA has been allocated a reasonable quantity of rooms at the Gateway Hotel and at reduced rates. Accommodation information can be found here https://www.aceta.org.au/accommodation.html
Don’t delay your bookings.
All the best
