Industry statistics
Every industry needs clear, reliable and consistent statistics on which to build their business planning. ACETA is working with members to develop the list of data that needs to be collected, and is mapping this to the Australian Customs codes. Australian manufacturing data will be sourced separately and manually added.
Part of this project is to identify the enabling value of the industry. In other words, how much economic value rides on this sector, or how much economic value does this sector enable.
These statistics will only be available to members and, in due course, will be found in the members section of this website. They will also inform the government relations.
Interim statistics for 2010 and 2011 are now available in the members section of this website.
Currently this project is being driven by the Executive Officer, Ian Harvey.
