This entertainment technology industry peak body publication has been created to serve a number of purposes for your convenience. It categorises the bona-fide membership and associate membership into the industry sector(s) they address and presents their organisational profile.
In accessing the ACETA Members Guide, it is quite likely you are an individual or organisation seeking a reliable supply partner. You may in fact be an international technology creator seeking credible partnership and representation. You could also be an individual interested in employment and exploring your options. Borderless Trading is Challenging the Supply Industry and Undermining Consumers
The global borderless trading and e-Commerce reality is presenting a significant challenge to the bona-fide Australian entertainment technology supply and service industry. However, it can also negatively impact consumers who acquire systems, devices and services that are not covered by warranty, are not effectively serviced or supported, are non-compliant with Australian law, and devoid of product and public liability insurance protection.

2016 has been a defining period for ACETA with significant development across all core indicators, membership numbers increased, financial stability improved markedly and a remodelled management structure has resulted in vastly improved productivity. In November we realise the implementation of three vital member programs the value of which cannot be quantified. It also signals the rolling out in coming months, of numerous member programs that have been developed in response to expressed industry need. They encompass industry guidelines, accreditation, self-regulation of product compliance, compliance testing, advertising and exposure, safety and well-being, resource material, skills shortage, employment bureau, aptitude test and resourcing manufacturers for export, a new landscape is here.
