The ACETA January 2025 Newsletter
So, a New Year is with us, and we trust your journey in 2025 will see your aspirations realised. The ACETA aspiration in 2025 is to increase its influence and broaden its focus to the benefit of established and new constituents.
2025 A New ACETA Era
The ACETA board of management will begin the New Year with a gathering to define its programs, practices and policies for 2025 and beyond, whilst taking the opportunity to present a renewed management team and operational format. Preparations are now underway for a multi-purpose event to be held in Melbourne on Tuesday the 18th February 2025, that will be conducted in three parts. The first, an open strategic planning workshop to develop priorities moving forward, followed by a board meeting to address normal business and action workshop findings, concluding in the evening with a social event and confirmation of achievements.
The newly formatted board of eight members is well balanced from a generational, gender and skills perspective, with a commitment and enthusiasm patently obvious. From here the determination will be to quickly build a cohesive and dynamic team culture, capable of achieving desirable outcomes relative to available resources. The new board has already determined to establish a marketing department and this will include a significant and regular social media presence commencing in February 2025.
ACETA Industry Communication 2025
ACETA will deliver a monthly newsletter to the entire industry data base, issued via Mailchimp in the 3rd or 4th week of each month. Its purpose is to update the industry on current ACETA activity, will be delivered in around 400 words, and according to which expert you listen to, will take no longer than 2 minutes to read.
ACETA Member Communication 2025
As flagged recently ACETA has developed a member only publication, The ACETA Members Circle©. This will be issued to a members nominated e mail address in the 3rd or 4th week of each month, it will also be delivered in around 400 words, with the purpose of providing beneficial information across many topics that will enhance a members business operation. Issue one (out to members soon) will ask What is the beating heart of your business, it has to be more meaningful than just making money? A proven business manifesto will be presented.
Finally, the Trade Event survey distributed to members last year is being re-sent as the response was too small to establish a consensus, please assist yourself and the industry by responding.
